We have spent most of our lives studying the Bible and believe the writings to be words inspired by God. What was true for the early church is true for believers today. Still, we must read it to find the golden nuggets of prayers, precious promises, and peace offered to those who believe it is theirs for the taking. “God is not wanting great men, but He is wanting men who will dare to probe the greatness of their God” (Jose Navajo).

Let’s face it, the world is upside down. We love things and use people, or worse, ignore and discard them. We fill our faces with the food we don’t need, take vacations we can’t afford and are still found empty. Blaise Pascal states, “There is a God-shaped vacuum in the heart of each man which cannot be satisfied by any created thing but only by God the Creator, made known through Jesus Christ.” We believe what God says in the Bible; fulfillment is found in God, in a relationship with his Son Jesus Christ. Power is available through the Holy Spirit given to all who believe.
